So you get to the ripe old age of forty,  having never had ChickenPox, and your child suddenly develops the dreaded varicella zoster virus (VZV) having picked it up at school. The natural reaction is to try to keep the disease ridden offspring at arms length as much as possible during the infectious stage. WordPress Blogs to Accept Cyrillic, Estonian and Polish Text?

Our wonderful wordpress blog here doesn’t accept Cyrillic text.

It doesn’t accept Estonian text. It doesn’t accept Polish text.

We want to blog in Russian Cyrillic text, Ukrainian Cyrillic text and Polish and Estonian Latin text. Yet wordpress doesnt seem to want us to do that.

After some Googling, I learned that one might insert some // before something in the wp-config folder, but that didn’t work.

I asked our host about it. First I got flannel:

UTF8 should work for the fonts. When was the website initially created? There was a recent change where we changed to UTF8.

Another eBay miscreant to add the the Google pool here. The policy of eBay to not allow sellers to leave negative feedback for buyers is ill conceived and gives buyers licence to take the piss as you will see.

Today’s internet lunatic for exposure on the Real Deal is Ian Kowalski, 165 The Briars, Aldridge, Walsall,  West Midlands.  WS9 8AQ. His eBay handle is “ian_ski” – he sells head map pins on eBay. Well I guess somebody must.

Another eBay miscreant to place on the public record here. This guy bids on stuff on eBay and then doesn’t pay.  He doesn’t respond to e-mails nor does he make any contact at all. This inconveniences sellers because they become liable for final value fees on the goods they have supposedly sold to this joker.

In order to get those fees refunded, they must go through a whole rigmarole with eBay and wait two weeks.

There have been reports in the German wine press that a substance called Natamycin has been found in some Argentinian wines. Following these reports, some wine suppliers in the UK extended their normal quality control to test for Natamycin at very low levels of concentration, and have identified some wines that contain traces of it.

Based on the information so far, “THERE IS NO RISK TO HEALTH” claim online wine supplier Naked Wines.

Do not use Filezilla if your pages contain Google Adsense code. Your Adsense code will be corrupted on upload and your ads will not show.

FileZilla seem to know about this (indeed, it is something in their product that causes it) but seem unconcerned about it.

Many people are now trawling the internet searching for a replacement for SmartFTP who just recently decided that their product was not free any more.

An Iraqi named Amjad Shareef a business man made a numbered fixed deposit of (112,211,709.80 HKD) for 18 calendar months; this is valued to ($14, 400, 000, 00) Dollars (FOURTEEN MILLION FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND UNITED STATE DOLLARS ONLY) in my branch. AgencyScams.net – as with many things in cyberspace – is not exactly what it seems. A website called Dream-Marriage.com is actually the creator of AgencyScams.net – it is a site they built to discredit the famous AgencyScams.com website.

The original AgencyScams.com website is actually a resource for men seeking Russian women where they can check out the reputation of agencies and related websites. AgencyScams.com is actually a well regarded website.

I don’t know how much coverage these guys got in the US and the rest of the world, but here in Britain, they were never out of the press.

Lembit Öpik is a British Liberal Democrat politician of Estonian descent. He is currently the Member of Parliament for the constituency of Montgomeryshire in Wales.

Gabriela Irimia is one half of the twin sister pop group “The Cheeky Girls”. They are from Cluj-Napoca in Transylvania, Romania, but based in Britain. Their songs were questionable, but they were always guaranteed an audience of male fans, being twin Eastern European sisters that look like this:
